Faisal Qureshi

Founder and CEO

Faisal Qureshi is a dynamic person , with a vast experience of professional, business, media and social life in Pakistan; he has been part of five business organizations in diverse roles ranging from CEO to Consultant; member of several professional bodies including PEC, and IEEEP; a driving force behind quite a few social groups like Mensa Pakistan and Loose Ends Pakistan; and a rising media spokesperson on current affairs and social problems in the form of Breakfast at Dawn and Loose Ends on Business Plus. Faisal is an electrical engineer by education; a self-taught computer programmer; an amateur photographer; an active blogger; and a professionally trained TV anchor. An innate team player and leader, his desire and capability to unite people in form of organizations and groups is very evident. He is the founding chairperson of Mensa Pakistan (Pakistan chapter of the International society of people with High IQ), and Loose Ends Pakistan (A rapidly growing social organization and movement in Pakistan).

Faisal founded, and has been operating a successful software house for almost over a decade, offering cutting-edge business solutions through effective use of technology. Faisal has been an active member of the local IT industry for the past two decades, being extensively involved in the use and management of computer technologies, software development, the design of interactive web-based applications and web designing since the early 90s. He has contributed significantly in the advancement of technology-based products and services, and has created a niche for his company in various markets. In his own words ‘Faisal likes to evolve and learn continuously.’

Imran Ali Rashid

Chief Technology Officer

Imran Ali Rashid is a computer science graduate from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences & Technology, Pakistan, and has 5 years of experience in the field of Information Technology. His technical expertise includes .NET Technologies, Perl/CGI, Databases and Network Administration. He is responsible for supervising the entire technology team, coordinating with clients, mapping business needs to software specifications, and brainstorming for new projects.

Tameem Qazi

Business Manager

Tameem Qazi has a post graduate degree in computer science from Lahore University of Management Sciences, and brings more than 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance as well as Business and Project Management. Her strong planning and organizational skills combined with implementing, monitoring and evaluating potential opportunities and strategies, confirms genuine commitment to company’s goals and values.  Being passionate about demonstrating responsible leadership and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction, her flexibility to changing roles in relation to relevant management areas enables her to maintain a competitive culture and build strong teams. She also focuses on ensuring quality concepts and project’s compliance to specifications, thus improving process quality throughout the project’s development cycle.

Bina Elyas

Manager Operations

Bina Elyas joined KAT in December 2006 and brings with her years of experience, in Information Technology. She is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company, including managing projects, human resources and business operations. Her commendable research abilities, and leadership skills, focuses on developing KAT’s internal strengths, and plays a key role in shaping the company’s strategic business direction.

Bina holds a BSc. degree from Rana Liaquat Ali Khan College.

Beenish Sahar Khan

Project Manager

Beenish is a computer science graduate from FAST (National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences) and a MCTS. She has more than 5 years of experience in software engineering. Her technical expertise includes .NET Technologies, PHP and Databases. Beenish manages the development team, analyzes client requirements and participates in the software design and development process and has worked on many large scale successful web projects.

Maqsood Ahmed

Project Manager

Maqsood is a computer science graduate from University of Karachi and MBA from Institute of Business Management Karachi. He also possesses MCSD.NET certification. He has almost 6 years of experience in Software Development and Project Management in financial applications. His technical skills include .NET technologies and Databases. Maqsood is responsible of brainstorming new ideas for the products, managing clients’ requests and designing software architecture.
